This work consists of a pair of office chairs. The first is manipluated to look as an ordinary office chair, but with a seat made of foam so that the vewer would never be able to sit upon it. The second chair has been completely over inflated, so much so that it can no longer carry itself like a chair, it has given up completely, it needs a break! The pair together stress the false facade of gentrification to supposedly improve society  but instead causes feelings of entrapment and anxiety due to pressures of rising house prices and having to compete with renowned chains and money ridden corporations.
